Our target is to deliver UK stock(s) to UK customers within 3 - 5 working days and to some extent to a maximum of 12 working days. However, any delivery times which we indicate to you (unless specifically agreed) are given as an estimate only and delivery times can never be guaranteed. If you require delivery information regarding the order placed to us, e- mail us so we can send you the tracking information.
We try to hold as much stock as possible in the UK to keep shipping times down and avoid import tax charges for our UK and European customers. However, some of our products are shipped directly from our overseas manufacturers. In such cases, you are legally regarded "the consignee" and the person who is importing the item(s). In many countries, this means that you may be liable for the import duties or other taxes. You are responsible to find out about this. You are also responsible to pay any duties/ taxes that may be applicable.
Our courier service in sending purchased items is Royal Mail. Any delays or inefficiencies caused by postal services are not our responsibility. However, we will try to get your orders delivered to you within the specified lead times shown.Before sending your orders to our courier service, we test the product(s) to ensure that they are in good working condition and securely packing it for dispatch. We also ensure that the package will be a recorded mail service to ensure that the delivery can be tracked down. If the package was lost, stolen, or broken when it arrives at your delivery address, the company is not responsible for such event. You must raise the issue immediately with the courier or postal company and follow the correct reporting process.
When cancelling your orders, you can e - mail us within 12 hours of placing your order so we receive your message before shipping the item. Then we may be able to cancel it and promptly refund your payment. Please understand that we try to ship as quickly as possible, and cannot guarantee the ability to cancel your order.
We accept returns within 15 working days of purchase, except for warranty coverage which typically extends six months from the date of purchase. You do not need an RMA number to return something. We just need to know who under whose name the order was placed. We reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee on some returns, and we charge for shipping on replacement items. Items must be returned in like - new, working condition, with all accessories, cables, manuals, software and packaging included. If these terms are not met, we reserve the right to refund only partial payment, or to deem the merchandise in "non-returnable condition" and ship it back to you with no refund given.
All products have a 6 – month warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty starts on receipt of the goods. This warranty shall not apply if the goods have been worked upon, altered or damaged in any way by the customer or its employees or agents, or to goods not used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. To make a claim, e - mail us mentioning the product model, the date of purchase and the description of the fault. Post it to our shop address (at your expense). We will investigate the fault within 5 - 7 working days upon receiving the product. If it’s a manufacturer’s fault, we will either replace the product if stock is available. If not, we send it to the manufacturer for repair or replacement for free but this may take some time. If you want it repaired/ replaced within at least 2 - 3 weeks, an additional fee must be paid (dependent on the item). If the product has been discontinued, we will replace the faulty item with a similar item or a newer version of the item. If it is determined that the fault of the goods was caused by reason of your misuse or negligence, we will inform you of this and we will return the goods to you at your cost or dispose of the goods at your instruction. If you do not elect within 28 days to have the goods returned to you or disposed of, we will dispose of the goods.
In the unlikely event that a customer is unhappy with their purchase but the item is not faulty, the customer must return the item to us within 14 days of delivery. Proof of postage is not proof of delivery and you are therefore strongly advised to send your package by recorded delivery, registered post or courier, and to insure the goods for their full value. The item must be in perfect resalable condition with all the packaging and accessories intact. If the item is returned not in a resalable condition we will inform the customer of this and we will return the goods at customer’s expense or dispose of the goods under instruction.
Upon receipt of the item and satisfactory inspection (resalable condition), a cash refund via your chosen payment method equal to the cost of the product returned less the shipping costs.
DATA PROTECTION ACT
1. We comply with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998 when dealing with all data received from visitors to the site.
2. We only hold the data necessary to offer services provided on our website.
3. We only hold personal data for as long as necessary. Once data is no longer needed it is deleted from our files.
4. We regularly email website news and information updates to those customers who have specifically subscribed to our e - mail service. All subscription e - mails sent by us contain clear information on how to unsubscribe from our e - mail service.
5. We never sell, rent or exchange mailing lists.
6. In accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, we never send bulk unsolicited e- mails, (popularly known as Spam) to e - mail addresses.
7. We may send e - mails to existing customers or prospective customers who have enquired or registered with us, regarding products or services directly provided by us.
8. All e - mails sent by us will be clearly marked as originating from us. All such e - mails will also include clear instructions on how unsubscribe from our e - mail service and any future e - mails. Such instructions will either include a link to a page to unsubscribe or a valid e - mail address to which you should reply, with “unsubscribe” as the e - mail subject heading.
9. Our website uses “cookies” to track use and allow customers to purchase from our website. Please note that these cookies do not contain or pass any personal, confidential or financial information or any other information that could be used to identify individual visitors or customers purchasing from our website. Please note that you are free to refuse cookies. However, for purely technical reasons this may prevent you from purchasing from our website. This is because anonymous cookies are commonly used to keep track of the contents of customers, i.e. shopping baskets or trolleys during the checkout process. This facility ensures that the items added to (or removed from) your basket are accurately stated when you go to pay.
